Early Canadian Printing

Marie Tremaine’s bibliography was originally published in 1952 and has been described as “the cornerstone of bibliography and book history studies in Canada”. This supplement not only corrects the original work but also significantly expands its contents. In addition to verifying as many of Tremaine’s original library locations as possible and identifying additional copies of listed items, the authors have incorporated numerous newly discovered entries, further enriching the bibliography’s scope and accuracy.
