The Big Show

Andrew King’s Show Prints, 1919–1958
Catalogue for an exhibition held at the Dunlop Art Gallery in Regina, October 31 – December 6, 1987. For almost forty years Andrew King (1885–1981), the founder of King Show Print in Rouleau, then in Estevan, Saskatchewan, was the primary producer of circus posters in Canada. At one time his posters rivalled those of Hatch Show Prints in Nashville. This illustrated catalogue is a good introduction to his work.
